Purveyors of the finest house music Mn2S have been boasting worldwide club nights and tours alongside there fledging label. With only the best, you get George Morel and yet again a name enriched in the house history roots (Strictly Rhythm, Groove On, Subversive, Bubble Soul the list goes on).
For this Mn2S release it’s a pure happy, uplifting energy traditional U.S. style groove with a strong female vocal. In 2 mixes from George we get a Classic mix and a Groove mix, even though I liked both of them, it’s defiantly aimed at the pure soulful market I believe, totally the opposite to the current musical trends and tastes.
John Julius Knight of Soulfuric fame steps up for a smooth toe tapping traditional groove led house mix. A penetrating bass is the main focus and drive for the track with the all important vocal drenched across and makes for a nice suitable later funky house floor mix with a tad bit more energy and guts. Staying close to George’s original vibe all the way he’s enhanced it further and far more developed.
Olav Basoski injects a deeper darker moodier and by far more cutting approach with a chunky as hell bass in a funk throb vibe, it also hints with a techy angle as well and purely more effective. With a Vocal and a Dub you get the 2 angles to it from his mix, the vocal really lifts you up and packs a quality feeling, whereas the dub just strips it back and lets Olavs firing production skills stand up, my favourite mix by far off the package.
