Deadmau5

» Arguru

Label: Songbird
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Progressive House, Trance

Canadian Deadmau5 literally has taken the dance community by storm with such a host and variety of both original productions and remixes with Dj support from both traditional Dj’s to the nu breed, a long and prosperous future is in the pipeline.

Arguru has already achieved a slow burner status within the Original mix being played and supported by house, trance and progressive fans. Already amassing a huge number of hits on the Deadmau5 Myspace music page, it’s clearly not going to go away. The Original mix, has a deep hitting dark moody electro based house sound with a peak time tough-ish sound too all thrown in. Opting for a floaty aspect to it as well, with a gentle sounds cape that picks up on the bass we get taken more into progressive territory. As per all his offerings, it’s another fine peak time track.

EDX 5un5hine mix starts the new mixes, and it has a wee bit more energy levels upped that I like a lot with a chunky progressive slant throughout, but still retains a lot of the originals vibe. The bassline seems to be more hooky and dancey and works a lot better for me and sounds more solid groove led. The Progression remix has what seems like a full throttle take on matters with a uplifting and very driving beat and takes you on a far more trancey based trip that’s dark, deep and somewhat tasty for the heads and lifts the originals vibe into realms that the other mixes do not achieve in my opinion.
