Killswitch

» Groove Criminal

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 20-07-08 16:22

Label: CGI Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Tech Dance

Killswitch aka Joe E makes his debut on CGI Records with a slightly different path to the previous label releases whilst Mad Child gives it the big room treatment.

A deep brooding electronic tech track starts the track off whilst a gradual synth pads out into a hitting breakdown and some rising effects pick up the pace to layer it with cool heavy percussive drums. A second breakdown with the synth in full play shows some stronger potential whilst the whole track keeps fairly restrained.

Japanese Tech-Dance Mad Child opts to give the track a pure punch and injected endurance. Right from the start in comparison to the Original it has a really effective high octane driving tech drum flow with loaded up to hell energy ready to unleash.

Making a total impact with the use of the synth it shuffles along the floor really well. Awesome with its style and sound it definitely has the Groove Criminal tied down and in a no bulls approach. An electro sounding extra bass really carries the track along and completes the makeover into a floor stomper and wins the package.
