Without a doubt Pete has been at the forefront of electronic dance music for several years, and part of the weekly clubbers institution in the form of his Essential Selection show on Radio 1 where weekly he spins the best upfront new music and attempts to break records fresh from out of the studio. In recent years Pete has seemed to opt for his new style and sound and Wonderland is the product of this, but staying true to his house roots.
As ever a who’s who of current dance toppers appears on the list and some darn fine select cuts. From tripped out more minimal inspired cuts to deep house, techy groovers and banging peak time belters and electronica moments the 2 CD’s cover most moments for Pete’s trip to the Wonderland. This is a serving of what you can expect in Ibiza and the Wonderland parties.
