» Catch A Fall

Label: Maelstrom Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

4 Strings (Carlo Resoort and Jan de Vos) return with their new track Catch A Fall. After signing Daytime to the highly respected Spinnin’ Records, which had support from trance heavyweights Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules and Tiësto they followed with the now anthemic Take Me Away.

Opting to cover a few genres and areas with Catch a Fall they’ve included a House mix and remixes from First State. The Club mix has a no holds barred club trance drum and flow with nice and long delayed vocal use. A House mix uses a subtle blend of house and trance with a commercial edge with huge, uplifting vocals topping it off for a bright positive direction.

First State provides two versions, starting off with the Dark Remix, which decides to offer a trip into the world of bleepy & dark techy laden trance tones. Using the full vocal and a bass jarring sound to charge the main part of the track further with obscure and scattered effects and sounds with some vocal stuttering and looping that develops the flow up a bit higher.

Their Another Sound Remix keeps it techy still in some ways, but adds a more melodic edge that the other mix doesn’t offer. This provides a smooth uplifting trance changing journey and some airy floaty moments.
