Label: Azuli Records
Format: 2 x CD
Genre: Tech House
Not one to stand still, he’s back and after a fifteen year career in dance music D Ramirez always is pushing the boundaries to create something unique and unexpected.
With releases on Toolroom Records, Underwater, Four:twenty Recordings, Yoshitoshi, Blanco Y Negro, Junior , Choo Choo, Phonetic, Thrust, Whoop!, Lot 49 its not hard to see why his groundbreaking remix of Bodyrox’s “Yeah Yeah” pushed a whole new genre into the mainstream, but for the future Dean Marriot showcases a more introspective selection.
Words such as deep, dark and minimal with a splashing of tech all come to mind and this double CD provides a glimmering foray into the electronic dance music mind of Mr. D Ramirez.
