Don't Delete vs Mallorca Lee

» Electro Cla$h E.P

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 02-07-09 11:11

Label: MLXL Black
Format: Digital
Genre: House, Electro

The second release on Mallorca Lee's MLXL Black imprint that specialises in his house releases. Don't Delete has had several releases on the mighty D.O.N.S. Kingdome Kome Cuts label plus Influential House and Roo2.

The original mix is a cool percussive track with a nice energy right from word go, and funky groove but clattering deep bass line and extra ravey vocals and effects with warped and looped twisted styled siren noise effects. Building further more and gaining a funky but chunky and tough rugged sound, this is a cool house track to drop.

Callum B provides a remix with a Clavertron, Will bailey and Micky Slim slanted style and warble wobbly that picks up on the best elements but adds that wonky bass to the equation. More old school rave break and extra cheeky samples pad it furthermore and keep it pumping but chunky and groove based but the bass could have had a few more highs at some point for impact, but resulting in a good end version with a cool style.

The Beat finishes off the E.P. and has a cool bass and big driving energy with a pumping house edge and loads of chunky goodness with slick effects and great vocal looped up for a simple and effective big room groove that rolls and keeps un raveling.
