Twilo returns for episode number 7 of 12. This month we welcome Nicholas Cuer to deliver a truely inspirational set taking elements from the soul era and combining them with the contemporary electronic sound that is sweeping Europe.
He is an expert in classic Chicago House and Detroit Techno. He gained this expertise first as
a fervent record buyer at SoulWax branch, where he later started working behind the counter. It was the heyday of labels like Prescription and Relief, the time for soulful house music, which still can be heard in his sets...
Twilo celebrates a series of summer lineups which encapsulate cutting edge electronic music from across the globe. TWILO is about superb quality music, excellent production and creating a vibe like no other. With our energy and soul we offer you a night to remember.
The DJs on the night use everything from used analog synthesizers, samplers and sequencers to create and arrange the electronic elements and samples on their tracks, combining live traditional instruments and percussion and soulful vocals with preprogrammed electronic synthesizers and "beat-boxes", to modern CDJ turntables and Ableton Live technology to bring about a unique sound not being played in other UK clubs.
Twilo comes to London/Pacha and encapsulates New York, Chicago and Detroit's truely cosmopolitan feel with a distinct attitude and vibe of the Underground & Tech/House music.
