What's not fun about throwing cakes at people?

The not getting to eat them.

Lauren Lyon is a London based DJ and Producer, who has had a solid addiction to electronic music since being exposed to it by her parents and the people around her from a young age.

She first came across a set of Technics 1210’s at the age of 13, and has been completely fascinated with the art of mixing and creating musical journeys over the 15+ years since!

Throughout her years DJ’ing, Lauren has been known to dabble with a variety of genres, including variations of House & Techno, but is essentially a Trance DJ at heart, tending to incorporate a variety of styles under this umbrella within her sets. These range from deeper, melodic Trance, through dark, driving chunky Progressive, to the many subtle variations of Full On Psychedelia and Goa Trance to name but a few! Regardless of genre, Lauren always finds a way of incorporating a more emotive and spiritual element to her music - a factor that has won her a faithful following among crowds at the parties she plays regularly, such as London stalwarts dancelovehub (for which she is a resident) and Tribal Village.

Lauren has proven that versatility need not compromise quality, providing a highly-acclaimed guest mix for prog/tech DI.fmhost, Idacio, within a few weeks of winning a competition to bring in the New Year for renowned London Psytrance party Elixir of Life. It is her versatility that allows her to craft wonderfully eclectic sets that weave together slices of each of her many styles, essentially creating a story, or a trip for the audience to enjoy.

Her resident’s sets for dancelovehub are always eagerly anticipated, as is her Soul Speak series of podcasts and she is soon to launch a new progressive mix series.

When not out DJ’ing Lauren spends the rest of her time with her head down in the studio mastering the art of music production, and has many projects up her sleeve that she is looking forward to eventually releasing when they meet her exacting standards.

Danny Gilligan AKA the Vinyl Warrior. There are very few people in the Hard House scene that have lasted as long as Danny. From the early days of the London scene, Danny has always featured. A resident at Riot and making tunes with Ali Wilson and Matt Smallwood set him off on his sparkling career. Now hosting a variety of parties but most importantly the go to event, Vinyl Warriors and the Vinyl Warriors boat parties. This will be one set not to miss.

Hyper!

London based Italian DJ Erc has always been interested in electronic dance music since the early days. Growing up in Italy exposed him to the italo-disco popular in the 90s, but he found his real passion for music after hearing "For an Angel" by Paul Van Dyk.

In 2006 he started learning the magic of djing and since then has gone on to share his passion and energy for music in every major venue and trance party in London, including Ministry of Sound, SE ONE, Cable, Matter, 414, Hidden, Trance Generation, Trance Sanctuary and, of course, has been behind the creation of some of the best underground and community parties in the city.

It was Erc who co-created the now-thriving daytime party scene with his original Odyssey concept and has moved on to co-collaborate with Emma Nicholson on the long-standing and well-respected Futurity. His energy and enthusiasm is a big part of the dancelovehub collective's success and his beaming features light up any dance floor whether dancing on it or bouncing behind the decks.

His music is versatile and cuts across many genres but always has the essential qualities of energy and emotion - with occasional flashes of tongue-in-cheek humour. The dance floor is always wreathed in smiles - none bigger than his. More recently, Erc has found his groove in melodic progressive psy and bouncy, energetic full-on psy, turning in star performances in the small hours that make it difficult to leave a dancefloor.

A previous resident for Zoology along with appearances at Lost Dawn, The Gallery, Tidy, Electronic Sessions, Electric Youth, Alumni, to name but a few, and regularly popping up in clubs across Europe, Matt Dahl has been entertaining crowds since he first stood behind a set of decks back in 2004.

A true multi genre DJ, Matt can often be found mixing anything and everything from Trance to Hip Hop, via Prog, Breaks and House, often in the same set.

Most recently his upbeat and adventurous genre bending sets have seen him as the warm up act for, and then paying back to back with the legend that is Grandmaster Flash.

So for a guaranteed floor filling musical tour, be sure to check him out at this year’s HF party
