Batteries do degrade naturally over time anyway and become less efficient. Why would a mobile company make you think that brand is shit and getting shitter right before you need to think about picking a mobile? I said it sounded like bullshit but some batteries do seem to die a lot quicker than others after upgrades but that's probably because they get caned on tons of apps.
