Nothing to to with subtle for me, it's just quicker and easier to use the implement I'm already sat at, open up an email, type an email and hit send, then move on to something else.

Why stop to unlock my phone, open and app, fuck about with smaller keys and stupid smilies...?

No brainer really, to me.
